In the article "Dating Tips For Men In Relationships – Part I," I spoke briefly about the new set of rules that men have to learn once they've entered a serious relationship. Many members of this community, the "newbies" and "seduction gurus" similarly, seem to forget that learning how to maintain a relationship with a woman is just as important as learning how to build one, so I've decided to write a second article on the subject, packed with more tips that will help you hold on to that special girl.

  • Manage expectations. You might think that you're impressing her by picking her up in a limo and taking her to the fanciest restaurant in town on the first date, but what you're really doing is creating tension. From then on, she's going to assume that you'll always go on dates that are expensive and grand with her, and you're going to feel pressure to live up to the unreachable expectations you established. Do not set expectations too high at the outside of a relationship, so that you can easily exceed them as time goes on.
  • Do not become a submissive nice guy just because you're in a relationship. Lots of men lose women because they think that being in a relationship means that they can relax their alpha dominance. She already likes you, so you can focus on just being a nice guy and being her friend, right? Wrong. If you do not actively work to sustain attraction during a relationship, it will die.
  • Do not let things become monotonous. Part of the reason she became interested in you in the first place was your sense of humor, your unpredictability, and your infectious energy. If you start spending every evening watching TV and eating popcorn, she's going to get bored and start question why she ever found you attractive. Try new things (and not just in the bedroom) and experiment.

Ultimately, the most important of all of these dating tips for men is simple: if you've found a woman worth keeping, you have to put in the effort to do so! Trust me, it's worth it.
